Our story
On a December evening in 2017 Sara and Owen's paths crossed during an Ugly Christmas Sweater Bar Crawl. Vacation Bar was there that their first true conversation unfolded. Owen shared a detail that would usually signal a fleeting encounter—he was just in town for the night, his life recently uprooted across the country in North Carolina due to his travel-intensive job.
Fate had a different plan. Their connection was undeniable, and Owen's job, which had him traveling frequently, became the perfect catalyst for their whirlwind romance. Almost every weekend following that night, they explored new places together, embracing the spontaneity that life offered. Their relationship blossomed with each adventure, building a foundation of joy, shared experiences, and an understanding that love knows no distance.
The very spot of their first heartfelt exchange, Vacation Bar, later became the backdrop for their engagement photos, capturing the essence of where it all began.
